CodeClone Studio – Cancellation Policy
Understanding that plans can change, we’ve established the following cancellation policy to ensure clarity and fairness for both our clients and CodeClone Studio:
Before Project Commencement
- Full Refund: If you cancel your project before any work has been started, you are entitled to a full refund of your deposit, less a 10% administrative fee.
After Project Commencement
- Work in Progress:
- Within the First Week: You may cancel the project within the first week of work starting. No refund will be issued, but you will only be charged for the work completed up to that point. We calculate this based on the hours worked or the percentage of the project completed, whichever is applicable.
- After the First Week: For cancellations after the initial week, you will be liable for the full cost of the work completed up to the time of cancellation. No further work will be conducted, and we will provide you with whatever has been completed to date.
- Completed Projects: Once a project is fully completed and delivered, cancellation is not applicable, as the work has been finalized. Any further changes would fall under our maintenance or additional service agreements.
Subscription Services (Maintenance, SEO, Hosting)
- Monthly/Annual Plans:
- You can cancel any subscription service at any time, but refunds are not available for the current billing cycle. Cancellation ensures that you will not be charged for future cycles.
- Notice Period: Please provide at least 7 days’ notice for cancellation of ongoing services like maintenance or SEO to avoid charges for the next billing cycle.
How to Cancel
- Written Notification: Send an email to cancellations@codeclonestudio.com with your project or service details and your reason for cancellation.
- Confirmation: We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 48 hours and provide confirmation once processed.
- Finalization: For ongoing services or projects, we will cease work upon confirmation of cancellation. For completed projects, we will ensure all deliverables are handed over.
Exceptions
- Fraudulent Activities: If cancellation is due to discovered fraud or breach of terms by either party, additional actions may be taken according to our legal rights.
- Third-Party Services: Cancellation of third-party services (like domain registration or specific software licenses) are subject to the cancellation policies of those service providers.
